Candid photography is the form where you take photographs often them realising the moment being captured and moments in life look the best when they are not staged because not every person is a movie actor The term is now a loose term which encompasses various other genres of photography viz. lifestyle, fashion and photojournalism. Mostly it is a term which has been fashioned by wedding photographers to distinguish themselves from traditional lot of photographers who have been engaged in the task of wedding photography. As per me it is an art to capture natural flow of emotions and subtle nuances as an event unfolds. It is a mixture of photojournalism, candid stealth shots capturing natural emotions and a bit of fashion. We also take some posed fun shots to portray the hot chemistry and romance between the couple. Unlike traditional wedding photography Candid photographers don’t do group shots of reception and don’t like to dictated on what to click. We take a brief in the begging and intermittently on what is the expectation and then play around with our creativity. Most current Candid photographers in the country make use of available light while capturing photographs and use artificial lights like flash in a limited sense This is one aspect where I am different. We work heavily with lights to create the magic lighting which you only see in fashion shoots or movies and yet everything in a Candid setting which is our USP and this along with our enthusiasm and love for weddings sets us apart from the rest of the photographers in the country.

For the journey you need to cover charges for economy class flight tickets which helps us arrive quickly for your assignment without draining myself on travel and then edit pictures in peace to quickly deliver to you on my way back home. Our style work helps us to work better if we stay with the family. This helps us in getting behind the scenes and candid shots. Its like you will have friends over your place who are amazing photographers and cinematographers. But in case if you can’t make the arrangement we can discuss it.

We don’t limit our self to marriages and couple-shoots. We have vast experience in all sorts of photography within our time. So if you have a good and challenging assignment then don’t hesitate to contact us.

Yes we take care of everything. We have team of large number of photographers and videographers but don’t do only traditional. We keep traditional photo video only for backup.

Generally there are two photographers for most of the big weddings that we have done. Depending on your requirements and budget this number may go up. If we are doing your Wedding film then expect 2 people or more. Generally we work in a team like : 2 Candid Photographers, 2 Cinematographers, 1 Traditional photographer and videographer, 2 Assistant, 1 Pilot with Drone

– Following are the terms and conditions:
a) The photographer is not instructed to take photographs of the general guests. He shall be free to shoot to best of his abilities and creativity. If you have specific objections to any kind of photography it needs to be communicated before and we will respect it.
b) The photographer will retain all Intellectual Property rights of the photographs. He will use some images for self promotion for putting up on his website or social media platforms with your consent. Under no circumstances can the client sell the photograph alone. We assure you that no images featuring you will be sold for any commercial purpose. The client cannot use the photographs for any photography competitions. He is free to make any number of prints and copies for his personal use and share for viewing with whomever he may deem fit.
c) In case if I, Vicky get ill and I am unable to do the wedding then a member of my team will do the wedding if we have your consent or I will give you full refund of your money and try to make arrangement of another competent photographer.
d) Half the total agreed amount has to be paid in the beginning to confirm the booking and the remaining half on the last day of the assignment. The work on editing your photographs or videos will not start unless the client pays the remaining amount.
e) Once we enter into the agreement the client cannot break the contract unless there is a change in the status of the marriage itself.
f) By contracting me or my team you agree to all the terms and conditions mentioned above.

We do take posed photographs, depending on the package you requested for your wedding. However, if you only booked candid photography please understand that taking posed photographs consumes your valuable photographer time which could be better used to capture stunning moments.

ASAP!!! The earlier the better as it helps to plan and we tend to get booked pretty early. The maximum period for which we have booked ourselves till date is for 1 years in advance! We work on a per-day basis even if actual photography requirements are small. We are not only working when you see us with our camera clicking pics – there is lot of preparation involved with the photography that we do and it is not as simple as taking out the camera and start clicking. Keeping that in mind and the importance that we attach to each assignment that we take, we avoid taking multiple bookings for the same team during one day. This ensures our commitment to one and only one client at one time and our creative team is much more effective.

We accept cheque and online transfer and at times cash as well. Usually clients arranges/pays for extra charges like travel, local transportation, airport transfers, accommodation and food for the duration of the shoot.

All the photographs that are taken by our wedding photographers and/or are displayed on our website are copyrighted by us. We retain copyright to all the images and will use some of the images on our website and for promoting our work in websites, magazines, contests and exhibitions. In cases, where a client does not want the pictures to be displayed anywhere, the photography fee will have to be adjusted upwards accordingly. As artists we consider each picture as a piece of art created by us and thus would want to show case it. However, we will not be using it for any commercial purpose. Yes we charge extra for out station assignment because we have to travel and to manage our team for it.

This is a standard question, and it’s a valid one. There are two parts here:
The first is that I will be booking my full day to be available for you, and therefore lose out on other potential assignments I could have shot that day.
The second, and more important one is that in my experience during Indian weddings, things average out. Your wedding day may (and most probably will) involve shooting overtime, as Indian weddings aren’t known to get over without a song and a dance! I won’t be charging you for working extra if your wedding needs it, so at the end of the day, things really do average out.

Absolutely! Wedding cinema has evolved a lot over the last few years. We will develop a beautiful thematic documentary style wedding video which will perfectly complement your wedding album. Typical deliverables include a wedding trailer (3-5 mins), and a film 15-20 minute wedding movie — all in brilliant high definition video.

I do not limit the number of images I shoot during a wedding (the wonders of digital photography!). The kind of work I do results in a number of rejected photos – bad expressions, bad lighting, distractions in the frame and so on. After a painstaking review, I reject around 60-70% of the material right away for one reason or the other. The rest of the photos are manually selected, colour corrected, juxtaposed to tell a story if needed and marked for final delivery. On average, We shoot 2500-4000 images from a 2 to 3 day wedding, and we select between 400-600 images from for albums.

I typically deliver the final set of individually developed images. The first step of it’s selection of photos when you completed your selection than designer need 4-8 weeks to design your album. After designing will send you a prof of album design and if there are any correction or changes we will do it and resend to you. After approving design printing, packaging and shipping will take 2 weeks.

During a wedding shoot, the stills team and the video team should have harmony and co-ordination for the benefit of client coverage. Although we prefer handling both together, we are comfortable with handling either depending on the comfort of the client.

It is rare that the delivery of the film is delayed beyond 8 weeks. Creativity and reedit in such case a delay might happen. All we can say is that it is for the benefit of the out put. So its all in good spirit. We apologies for the inconvenience (should a delay happen) but assure you that we will not release anything that we don’t absolutely adore. So please be patient and give us time to work with creativity.

I require full payment before the event. Payment for overtime, album upgrades, or additional products beyond your wedding day contract, however, are all due post-wedding.

Of course they can and it doesn’t bother me in the least bit! I do request they not swarm the family photographs right away because I’d prefer all eyes facing me in your images, but I don’t mind at all if they snap away from the background. I don’t allow family or friends to come along for the bridal images or the images of you two alone for privacy purposes and because, frankly, other people can be distracting! I welcome other cameras during dancing, cake cutting, and other events just ask politely if people could please not push me out of the way and respect my presence. Only we not work with other team or we will not allow other photographer to shoot same wedding/function. If we find this things we will stop shooting wedding/function. If you were appointing other team also so you have to inform us at the time of booking.

We’d love to meet your relatives, answer their questions and review our work with them. If possible, we’d like to at least webcam with you to get to know you better.

We would love to meet with you prior to our engagement shoot or wedding; however, if you’re too busy or too far away, we can handle everything remotely. Just let us know what information you need and we will do our best to accommodate your request. For example, if you would like to see more of our work, we can gladly show you complete events online. If you would like to talk about packages and get a sense of the photographer’s personality, telephone calls and webcam appointments can be arranged. Generally no, but this is taken on a case by case basis. The reason for canceling and our availability is taken into account. Also, if rates change from your original date to your new date, the new rates will apply.

Cancellation should be in written before 90 days from the wedding, after 90 days client have to pay whole amount of packages. Booking amount is non-refundable in any case. Under any circumstance the clients request for a refund will be rejected. The final decision remains with the photographer.
